Muballighs

While working in the field of Dawah for more than 2 years i have found out some thing which i want to share,may be other would have observed them too,just comment back if yes.

There are people who are just against Muballighs,let them be Dawat-e-Islami(DI) .I personally know a fellow who claims himself to be strict sunni ,sends messages on his SMS group against DI & SDI.He is clean shaven,modern,totally against Ulema who take Photo's and videos but enjoys capturing Photos/Movies of his sister at marriage,his father does bussiness on interest and still he speaks ill about Muballighs.I just wondered if DI muballighs speak againt SDI or SDI muballighs speak against DI,its acceptable as atleast they are doing something,but people like these; they are good for nothing and still bark at Muballighs!

I have heard many Ulema also speaking against DI muballighs,they say "After wearing Green/White imama they think themselves more than Ulema""They show some thing and actualy are something else""They blindly follow Maulana Ilyas Qadiri" etc..

With all the respect to Ulema-e-AhleSunnat I kindly say that with all these thing are you doing any good to sunnis?(I'm not talking after the fatwa on SDI,but before fatwa) There are thousands of people who are associated directly or indirectly with DI and when a speech like this is given all the bonds are broken,people who were made namazi and pabande shariat again return back to previous state.All the efforts by Muballighs are ruined.

As heard,this time in Urs-e-Razawi (Feb 2009)members of Raza-e-Mustafa(ReM) group distributed pamplet against Dawat-e-Islami and Ameer-e-Ahle Sunnat.The matter is VCD's of Ameer-e-AhleSunnat, as some of the Ulema of subcontinent deem coming on Video as Haraam.I dont know with this, ReM as done anything good to Sunnis but has deepened the gaps between already divided sunni community.

There are people who prayed behind an imam for 20-25 years but still never knew how to do Gusl and Wuzu,he is just unaware of the correct way of namaaz,but when came in contact with muballighs or travelled in madni qafila they were taught all these.I have personally met old people who says that they learnt all these first time in thier life.Muneer Attari from Dubai told an incident that once in a madni qafila a muballigh was teaching Farai'z of gusl,there was a man in 60's,muballigh asked him to tell,the Old man said there are 3 farz,Bucket Mug and Water,listening to this people aroung started laughing but Muballigh was stunned!after crossing 60 years of age the fellow do not know how to do gusl?what about the namaz he performed in last 50-45 years all the ibadats ? he politely taught him how to perform gusl after hearing Muballigh the old man started crying,he went to Imam sahab of his mosque and asked him why he never taught the way to gusl!

There are peoples whom I have met personally,who are not Attari's and have done ba'it to some great Peers but still they never had beard,but when they came to Madni mahaul of Dawat-e-Islami they kept beard started wearing Imam shareef,started giving Dars and Bayan.There are so many non-Attaris who are handling main responsibilities of Dawat-e-Islami.

Few months back a very famous Mufti Sahab came to bangalore,he stayed at one of the rich fellow in bangalore,one of our Islami bhai went to his home to meet Mufti Sahab.This rich fellow is clean shaven,seeing this Islami bhai said "See your peer sitting in your home could not make you keep beard but my peer sitting 1000's of kilometers away have made 1000's of people keep beard!"Though it hurts,but its the reality.Its karam of many Peer Sahab's and Mashai'ks that they ask thier mureeds to work for Dawat-e-Islami,one of famous peer sahab is Hazrat Tajuddin Bagdadi Sahab of Gulbarga Shareef,he was the one, who asked masjid members to allow Madni work in Kolar.May ALLAH azzawajal maintain Saaya of such Peer and Ulema's.

The qualities of muballighs are they are more accesible,they are humble without any ego,people consult them in thier matters,ask thier opinion,Muballigh can be made to sit anywhere etc.A poor man used to call Imam sahab of mosque for fatiha and would give nazrana to him,once imam sahab was not there so he called muballighs for fatiha,muballighs came to his house did fatiha and lots of dua,after fatiha the poor man as usual gave nazrana to them,muballighs politely refused instead they themselves gave some money to the fellow.After this incident the man was highly impressed and always called muballighs and this lead to seperation between imam sahab and muballighs and doors of mosque were closed for Madni work.

I remember once i told my mother "I think my life will pass away teaching peoples how to do gusl,wuzu and namaaz Only",to this my mother replied"Atleast these are better than the speeches which people listen and forget".I believe teaching these masa'ils are more important than always refuting badmazhabs in speeches.Imam Malik on his death bed said :"Teaching someone masa'ils of Namaz is more than whatever is present in the world". Our counterparts like Tablighi Jamat have reached the mases just by name of Namaz Roza.

Very soon prestigious title of "Maulana" will be added to my name also,InshahALLAH azzawajal,hence i can politely say to my collegues Ulema that after our dastar-bandi,leave all the ego you have ,be close to general people understand thier issues thier problems only then we will be able to properly deliver our duty of Na'ib-e-Rasool (hier of prophet)
